For the past eight years, Iris Van Rynbach has led many art appreciation trips to Europe. In 1997, Iris led a Wadsworth Atheneum group to Paris, Auvers-Sur-Loire to see Vincent Van Gogh's last home, and Giverney, Monet's celebrated home and garden.
Since then, Iris's irrepressible sense of humor, excellent art tours, linguistic ability, and—most importantly—her knowledge of where to find the best pastry in Paris has created a considerable fan base of return travelers. Her tours now extend to London, Paris, Venice, Florence, Tuscany and the south of France. Iris is fluent in French and speaks basic Italian.
